Im responding to Michael Moore's documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11" in which Moore picks apart the Bush administration and blames them for September 11th and the events that followed. I think that Moore is nothing but an over liberal film maker that takes advantage of an independent media and persuades people to see things from a leftist point of view with halve truths or lies. If there is one thing that Moore is good at; its editing his documentaries to give the audience a less than factual depiction of whatever he is trying to get across.
Michale Moore has written two books, "Stupid White Men" and "Dude, Where's My Country?" that were both peppered with factual errors and distortions. For example, shortly following the 2000 presidential election, Moore had twisted around a CNN anchor's words to insinuate that he was saying "if there was a state wide recount, under every scenario, Gore would win". When, in fact, Bush would have won under two different scenarios include counting only "undervotes", or taking into consideration the amount of county "overvotes". I hope that you will agree in the matter that Micahel Moore is far from a factual source. Michael Moore is a misleading entertainer, and nothing more.

I both agree and diagree with Matt, Michael Moore at times can be a very unreliable source of information and a waste to watch. But you cannot deny the fact that he does bring up really good points against the defense administration. Such as how the administration let the Bin Ladin family fly out of their country shortly after 9/11 when they knew one of their family members was the man who prdered that attack. Michael Moore is wishy washy in my book, he brings up good points while at the same time he can really bring out some real balogne.
ReplyDeleteIn the movie, Michael Moore, makes it look like it was all the Bush administrations fault for what happened on 9/11. He shows the clip of President Bush in the school after one of his colleagues tells him that the country is under attack. Although Bush does sit there for a few mintues, it doesnt mean that he didnt care or didnt know what to do. You could see in his eyes that he was scared just like all of us and he needed to contain himself and put up a brave front. I think that Michael Moore is extremely outspoken and honestly tries to press only the way that he sees things on everyone else. He tries to connect Bush to al quida to try and show that Bush new something about 9/11. Michael Moore shouldnt of used his opinion and stuck to the actually facts.
ReplyDeleteTherefore i agree with matt.
